Job Title: Full-Time Payroll Officer

We are seeking a skilled payroll professional to join our team in Australia. As a key member of the payroll team, you will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.

  • Process timesheet data from Kronos/UKG and ADP payroll on a weekly basis, preparing and reviewing payroll reconciliation and procedures.
  • E nsure new employee and status changes are entered correctly and process leave and termination payments.
  • Calculate pays accurately, apply superannuation, tax withholdings, and other allowances for award, above award, and salaried employees.
  • Prepare and submit payroll tax, PAYG, workers' compensation, long service leave, wage subsidies, and other compliance returns.
  • Respond promptly to payroll queries from internal and external stakeholders, including requests for cashing out annual leave, back pay, and general pay queries.
  • Interpret awards and other industrial relations legislation as they relate to payroll.
