**Aged Care Opportunity in Canberra North**

We are seeking a dedicated Home Care Worker to join our KinCare team in the Canberra North area. As a permanent part-time employee, you will have guaranteed hours and shifts close to home.

Our ideal candidate will be committed to improving the quality of life and wellbeing for our customers through tailored in-home care services. You will be responsible for providing domestic assistance, helping with meal preparation and shopping, and providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities.

In this role, you will also provide personal care, including getting customers up, showered and dressed for the day, medication management, assisting with mobility and therapy goals, and providing respite and emotional support.

We offer a range of benefits, including:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support, Disability or Nursing.
  • Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, including experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle – travel is part of the role.
