Job Title:

Structural Engineer - Asset Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in performing structural inspections, assessment and reporting of fixed plant assets. This is a critical role that requires strong engineering expertise and knowledge of asset management systems.

About the Role:

  • Conduct thorough structural inspections and defect assessments across various site assets.
  • Perform structural analysis and design of non-complex structures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Review technical drawings and engineering calculations to identify potential issues.
  • Provide expert advice on fixed plant, balanced machines, and supporting infrastructure to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement asset management strategies that drive operational efficiency.
  • Apply geotechnical and civil engineering principles to multidisciplinary projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong background in structural design, analysis, and inspection, with a focus on asset management.
  • Proven understanding of mining equipment and fixed plant operations, including safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with asset management systems and their application in industrial settings.
  • Knowledge of geotechnical and civil engineering principles, particularly in mining or heavy industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Membership (or eligibility) with Engineers Australia, demonstrating commitment to professional development.
  • Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) for secure access to sites.
  • Valid C-Class WA Driver's Licence for safe transportation.
