Expert Deal Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and analytical professional to join our team as an Expert Deal Analyst. This exciting role will involve working closely with clients to identify key value drivers, challenge assumptions, and provide financial and commercial insights that directly impact deal value and structuring.

As an Expert Deal Analyst, you will be responsible for participating in due diligence engagements, analysing financial and operational results of targets, and working with colleagues from other disciplines on multi-faceted projects in cross-border environments.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in due diligence engagements related to the acquisition or disposal of businesses by private equity investors or strategic corporate buyers.
  • Analyse financial/operational results of targets through reviewing accounting records, conducting interviews with management, and preparing/evaluating pro forma financial information.
  • Identify and analyse key value drivers to deliver financial and commercial insights, which directly impact deal value and deal structuring.
  • Work with colleagues from other disciplines on multi-faceted projects in cross-border environments.
Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, business, finance, or economics.
  • Demonstrate strong Excel skills and a high level of proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas in a collaborative team environment.
  • Be highly analytical, enjoying the challenge of solving deal value questions within short deal timelines.
  • Be prepared to contribute to the team culture by being actively involved in team activities both within the team and across the organisation more broadly.
