Financial Accountant Role

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Accountant to join our team and contribute to the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial reporting.

This is a key role in ensuring that all financial obligations are met, and we require someone with expertise in cash flow forecasting, treasury operations, and month-end financial accounts.

  • The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong technical accounting knowledge, including month-end close, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • They will be proficient in mid-tier ERP systems and have advanced Excel skills, including lookups, pivots, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Cash Flow Forecasting and Treasury Operations
  • Build and maintain rolling cash-flow forecasts to ensure accurate predictions of future cash inflows and outflows.
  • Oversee daily treasury operations, including banking and payment runs, to optimize liquidity and minimize risk.
Month-End Financial Accounts
  • Deliver accurate, timely month-end accounts and a concise commentary/variance analysis pack for management and stakeholders.
  • Complete monthly balance-sheet reconciliations and resolve variances quickly.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years in a similar financial accounting role.
  • Experience in multi-entity or project-based environments highly regarded.
  • Tertiary degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
  • CA/CPA qualified or working towards.
