Job Title: Facilities Management Expert

As a facilities management expert, you will play a critical role in supporting the effective delivery of facilities management activities across an assigned portfolio of Commonwealth Client properties.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing best practices for both owned and leased premises, managing facility services for WoAG properties within JLL's remit, and building strong working relationships with Portfolio Managers, Client Operations Managers, and client site staff.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement operational strategies aligned with organizational goals to ensure efficient and effective delivery of facilities management activities.
  • Supervise maintenance requirements and manage 24/7 afterhours client service to ensure minimal business disruption.
  • Identify process optimization opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, develop improvement plans, and serve as the primary facilities management contact for the regional portfolio.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to operational teams while supporting recruitment, training, and onboarding activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Facility, Property, or related field, preferably with Government or Corporate Sector clients.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with proven ability to lead teams and liaise effectively with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and strong overall computer skills.
  • Knowledge of HSE requirements, Australian Standards, and vendor management for specialized services.
  • Understanding of basic technical property aspects and fixed maintainable assets.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain AGSVA Clearance and associated Entity clearances.
