Maintenance Superintendent Job Description

At our nickel mining and processing operations, we require a skilled Maintenance Superintendent to oversee maintenance activities and ensure efficient plant operations.

  • C Coordinate daily maintenance work to minimize downtime due to mechanical failures.
  • Schedule maintenance tasks to optimize production levels.
  • Oversee area maintenance teams to guarantee all planned activities are carried out in the shortest time frame.
  • Support coordinators and supervisors in their daily duties.

The ideal candidate will possess a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent trade certification, experience working within complex metallurgical plants as a maintenance professional, and at least 2 years' experience as a supervisor or worker in a similar operation or industry.
