The Restructuring Group has a strong presence in Australia, comprising a national team of highly skilled professionals. Our team currently has 5 Registered Liquidators leading our Restructuring & Turnaround business, supported by a large team of insolvency experts.

We have developed a comprehensive framework to underpin our compliance and risk management processes.

Key responsibilities include ensuring that our compliance tools and procedures remain up-to-date with Australian laws and best practices, overseeing staff training for continual professional development, and managing the accounting compliance function team.

Qualifications & Experience

This role requires a professionally qualified accountant (CA or CPA) with more than 10 years' experience in restructuring, focusing on formal insolvent administrations. Prior experience in a technical capacity with an insolvency practitioner would be advantageous. Essential skills include:

  • A deep understanding of Australian laws and case law.
  • Familiarity with applicable professional standards and ARITA's COPP.
  • A keen interest in legal details of Australian insolvency laws.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
