Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Trade Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing training and assessment in accordance with our training standards and site-specific training plans.

  • Coordinate and execute training and assessment activities to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain proficiency in operating equipment to a high standard.
  • Identify outdated, inaccurate or unsuitable content in site training materials and report it to the Training Supervisor.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Generate regular training forecasts and reports as required.
  • Ensure confidentiality of trainee information and adhere to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Record accurate details of trainees and units they have demonstrated competency.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Caterpillar product knowledge is an advantage.
  • A current Mobile Plant Mechanic certification.
  • Experience delivering AUR training package material.
  • Experience in developing AUR training material.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent team working skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies.
