Junior Accounts Officer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Accounts Officer to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounts receivable and payable tasks.
  • Raise customer invoices and process vendor invoices.
  • Liaise with the operations team and respond to client and vendor queries.
  • Allocate and post daily bank receipts and payments.
  • Follow up with customers for overdue balances.
  • Perform administration duties, including answering phone calls.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent MS Excel skills.
  • Previous experience in accounting and finance processes is preferred.
  • Knowledge of an accounting system is also beneficial.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven individual.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
