Job Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team of professionals and volunteers in preparing and responding to emergencies.

  • Lead cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop strategic plans to ensure community safety through operational capability and readiness.
  • Be responsible for leading teams during emergency operations, such as Operations Manager or Incident Controller.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in providing leadership and building cohesive teams across diverse disciplines and backgrounds. They will be able to lead and influence team members to deliver services to our communities.

A strong understanding of leading and engaging a volunteer workforce to support communities during and after emergency events is essential. The candidate should also have extensive experience in leading and managing the preparation and response to emergencies.

The successful applicant will become a qualified Incident Controller Level 3 within 12 months. They will be required to travel, work on-call and out-of-hours as needed.
