Job Title: Community Safety Officer

We are seeking a Community Safety Officer to join our team in the Ku-ring-gai Local Government Area. As a Community Safety Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of school children and the broader community.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safety services at designated school zones during peak hours. This will involve interacting with children, parents, and teachers to promote safe crossing practices and providing guidance on road safety awareness. You will also work closely with local authorities to identify potential hazards and implement strategies to mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide safety services at designated school zones during peak hours
* Interact with children, parents, and teachers to promote safe crossing practices
* Work closely with local authorities to identify potential hazards and implement risk mitigation strategies
* Collaborate with other stakeholders to develop and implement safety initiatives

Requirements:
* Be 18 years of age or older
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Have a strong commitment to community safety and well-being
* Be able to work independently and as part of a team
* Hold a valid driver's license (preferably)
* Obtain a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and Health Assessment as required
