Job Overview

This is a permanent, full-time role within our Open Space team. You will lead and develop a team delivering high-quality open space maintenance across the Shire, adhering to safety standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will oversee parks operations including tree maintenance, bush reserve maintenance, garden care, and turf management.
  • Provide hands-on leadership and develop team members; ensure delivery of services to community needs.
  • Maintain safety standards and implement best practices; foster a positive workplace culture.
Required Qualifications
  • Certificate III or nearing completion in Horticulture or Arboriculture (preferred) or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of arboriculture and pruning practices.
  • Excellent communication and people skills for effective collaboration with team and community.
