Wellbeing Carer Role

We are seeking a passionate and caring individual to join our team as a Wellbeing Carer in Tamworth. As a Wellbeing Carer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by providing them with opportunities to explore their interests, connect with others, and maintain their independence.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering activities that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Building strong relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues to create a sense of belonging and community.
  • Providing supportive companionship, assisting with daily living tasks, and offering emotional support to those who require it.
  • Gathering feedback and suggestions from residents and their families to continuously improve our services.
  • Collaborating with the Lifestyle Coordinator and care team to plan and deliver activities that meet the needs of our residents.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle or Individual Support (or willingness to complete).
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
  • An Australian driver's licence.
  • Previous experience in caring for elders within an Aged Care or community setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
