About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Editor with expertise in RV travel and lifestyle content to manage freelance contributors, oversee editorial operations, and ensure high-quality content for our monthly issues.

The Editor will be responsible for:

  • Managing Freelance Journalists: Collaborate with freelance writers to produce timely and engaging content within budget constraints.
  • Sourcing and Editing Articles: Source and edit articles and images for each issue, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Overseeing Editorial Budgets: Make informed decisions to optimize content value while staying within allocated resources.
  • Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with the Content Lead, Sales and Marketing team to align content direction with overall business vision.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 Years' Experience: Proven track record in editor or assistant editor roles.
  • Strong Magazine Editing Background: Excellent understanding of magazine editing principles and practices.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to Work Effectively: Ability to thrive in a hybrid environment with minimal supervision.
