Role Summary

The primary goal of this role is to effectively manage and improve financial systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and enhanced reporting. The Systems Accountant oversees the Technology One (Finance) platform and supports other related systems, including HRIS, Dynamics 365 CRM, and the Enterprise Data Platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the budget model using advanced Power Query and MS tools.
  • Administer and support Technology One (Finance), ensuring data integrity and accurate reporting.
  • Provide user support and manage system access for authorized personnel.
  • Lead finance system upgrades and support related platforms, including HRIS, Payroll, D365, and Power Platform.
  • Drive process improvements and support business intelligence initiatives.
  • Manage annual system rollover and submit TPAR reports.
  • Maintain Finance SharePoint and update financial systems policies.
  • Support monthly management and annual statutory accounts.
  • Offer general assistance to the Finance team as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in accounting or a related field.
  • Strong ERP system administration experience, with Technology One being highly regarded.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and data modeling.
  • High IT literacy with experience in financial systems and processes.
  • Experience creating complex budget and forecast models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to translate business needs into efficient technical solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, able to convey complex financial and technical information to non-specialists.
  • Proven ability to build productive relationships with peers and senior stakeholders.
