Lead Network Developer

This role involves overseeing the development of new assets connecting to the network. You will be responsible for providing specialist advice and leading commercial and technical development across the asset lifecycle, collaborating with stakeholders to develop optimized solutions and asset strategies.

You will liaise with external clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders to achieve optimal network development and asset outcomes. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in High Voltage Substation and Transmission Line technical roles across the asset lifecycle, as well as demonstrated experience in risk management to support asset management decision making and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will also have working knowledge in applying and managing regulatory requirements for high voltage transmission network, including ISO55001, ENSMS, and AS5577. Additionally, they will have the ability to apply technical and commercial evaluation of options for network developments and input to financial modeling.

Key areas of design expertise include functional substation, transmission line, and cable technical areas of design, including network planning requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in High Voltage Substation and Transmission Line technical roles across the asset lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience in risk management to support asset management decision making and regulatory compliance.
  • Working knowledge in applying and managing regulatory requirements for high voltage transmission network, including ISO55001, ENSMS, and AS5577.
