Rail Safety Administrator

This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the project's rail safety management systems are compliant with legislative and project requirements.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Rail Safety Team, including word processing, presentation preparation, spreadsheets, meeting and workshop management.
- Administer weekly, monthly, and annual reporting requirements for Rail Safety, adhering to ONRSR guidelines.
- Conduct research on subjects, technologies, practices, and procedures as directed.
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, and training requirements, fostering collaboration among team members.
- Support data analysis to monitor trends, assess performance, and report outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative assistance to the Rail Safety Team.
- Develop and maintain accurate reports and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with rail safety legislation and standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project objectives.
Requirements:
- Experience in an administrative or reporting role – rail or transport industry experience is highly regarded.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of rail safety legislation, standards, and compliance processes (desirable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
