Are you a medical leader looking to redefine aeromedical excellence? As Director of Aeromedical Clinical Operations, you will lead the clinical workforce in delivering contemporary, safe, and evidence-based critical care for prehospital and inter-hospital medical retrieval responses across NSW and the ACT.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will oversee the aeromedical service, providing specialist coordination, response, treatment, and multi-modal transport for incidents, medical retrievals, long distance medical transports, search and rescues, and major incidents. You will be responsible for leading the clinical workforce within Aeromedical Operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
- Manage complex clinical operations in pre-hospital and retrieval medicine and critical care settings.
- Develop and implement innovative, evidence-based work practices that drive the delivery of world-class aeromedical, retrieval, and emergency management services.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Ambitious medical leadership experience with qualifications registrable with AHPRA.
- Additional qualifications in Intensive Care, Emergency Medicine, or Anaesthesia.
- Eligibility for appointment as a Senior Staff Specialist under the Staff Specialist (State) Award.
