About Goodstart Penfield:

Located on a 12-acre block in a rural market farming area, our centre boasts large grassed outdoor play areas for children. We have a chicken coop and vegetable garden where kids actively participate in caring for the chickens and tending to the garden.

We're looking for an experienced Lead Educator who can ignite a love of learning in children and guide their development with purposeful teaching practices.

Salary: Our competitive pay package includes a salary comparable to state primary school teachers, with a starting salary of $80,000 per year.

Job Description: As a Lead Educator at Goodstart, you'll be responsible for guiding a team of educators and supporting the delivery of high-quality early childhood education programs. You'll work closely with our Centre Director and other educators to ensure that all children receive a nurturing and engaging learning environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA-approved equivalent, as well as strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards. You'll also need to hold a current SA Working with Children Check and active registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRB SA).
