Senior Control Systems Engineer

">Job Description
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced control systems engineer to lead the end-to-end development of control systems from concept through commissioning.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

They will architect and program PLC and SCADA systems, with a strong focus on Rockwell and Schneider platforms.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, mechanical, and process engineers, to integrate control systems into broader project frameworks.

Conduct detailed system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure high reliability and performance.

Develop and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including functional specifications, control philosophies, I/O lists, network architectures, and FAT/SAT procedures.

Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across multiple projects.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5–8 years of professional experience in control systems engineering, preferably in industrial automation or infrastructure projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Rockwell (RSLogix/Studio 5000) and Schneider (Unity Pro/EcoStruxure) PLC platforms.
  • Strong experience with SCADA systems such as Citect, FactoryTalk View, or Wonderware, including architecture design and deployment.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce clear, structured, and maintainable documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of OT network design, industrial protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profibus), and cybersecurity principles.
  • Familiarity with IEC 61131-3 programming standards and structured programming practices.
