About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled diesel mechanic to join our team and contribute to the success of our operations. As a Field Service Specialist, you will have the chance to work on a range of Komatsu mobile equipment, performing various tasks such as servicing, diagnosing, and repairing.

You will be responsible for maintaining high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency, while also providing excellent customer service and technical support. Your role will involve working in remote areas and requiring minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining and repairing heavy equipment
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues
  • Testing and adjusting machine operation
  • Coordinating equipment maintenance projects
  • Generating technical reports and warranty claims
What We're Looking For:
  • Trade qualification in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or similar
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Komatsu equipment
  • Post-trade field service experience desirable
  • C category car license with ability to upgrade to MR license as required
  • Ability to obtain current tickets including first aid, forklift, and work at heights
