Toyota Material Handling Australia is seeking an enthusiastic and self-driven Field Service Technician/Mechanic for a permanent full-time position based in our Townsville Branch.

In this role, you will perform maintenance services including planned maintenance, repairs, and modifications at customer sites, adhering to customer requirements and company guidelines.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units, including preventative services and breakdowns, promptly.
  2. Maintain a professional level of customer service with all TMHA clients and customers.
  3. Accurately record job sheets, timesheets, and other administrative tasks.
Qualifications, Requirements & Skills
  1. Current Driver's license.
  2. Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician/Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic).
  3. Previous experience in the forklift industry or a related field.
Demonstrable Skills
  1. Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
  2. Good work ethic and self-motivation.
  3. Mechanical aptitude.
  4. Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
  5. Effective oral and written communication skills.
