Job Title: Regulatory Intelligence LeadThe Regulatory Intelligence Lead plays a pivotal role in driving strategic, operational, and tactical planning within the Sector Capability and Regulatory Strategy Division.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership to effectively manage the team consistent with statutory responsibilities and the strategic direction and operational policies of the organisation.
  • Lead and coordinate the successful development of regulatory intelligence capabilities and products to support regulatory activity.
  • Provide high level intelligence analysis on both complex and sensitive issues and identify opportunities, solutions and strategies to address contentious, long-term and emergent issues.
  • Establish and implement effective communication systems, both internal and external to the organisation, to ensure stakeholders are consulted and information is disseminated as required.
  • Deliver briefings and other documentation to clearly communicate findings of analysis to influence executive and committee decision making.
  • Represent the organisation at meetings and forums to provide expert intelligence, analysis and advice on key regulatory issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong experience in engaging with stakeholders in relation to difficult and/or sensitive issues.
  • Excellent research, conceptual thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to understand and clearly communicate complex analytical findings.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the capability to self-manage multiple competing priorities while working to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including quality assurance ability.
  • Flexibility to work both independently and work with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong data and regulatory intelligence literacy and reporting skills, including structured analytical techniques.
  • Understanding the role of data, intelligence and information by modern regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to manage, develop and lead a team including data and intelligence specialist staff.
