We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter to join our team at the Yilgarn Iron Ore Project in Western Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing servicing, repair and maintenance of mobile fleet and other equipment in accordance with Thiess servicing, lubrication and maintenance systems documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Servicing, repair and maintenance of mobile fleet and other equipment
  • General maintenance, breakdowns, services and component change outs
  • Source technical information from relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins, OEM and computer based systems
  • Maintaining high housekeeping standards
  • Carrying out pre-start checks

The ideal candidate will have a trade qualification as Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter or equivalent, minimum of 2 years post trade experience in the mining or Heavy Earth Moving induction, and experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs and servicing of CAT, Komatsu and Hitachi mobile equipment.
