Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative UI features.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in web application design and development, with a strong focus on user-centric design principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop end-to-end features for Notebook's UI
  • Collaborate closely with the Lead Product Designer to maintain a component kit for Whiteboard, our internal design system
  • Work with the Product & Engineering team to define performance targets for UI and implement changes to meet these targets
  • Maintain Accessibility by implementing practices to ensure Notebook meets accessibility goals
  • Advocate internally for the needs of manager users, who use our products for their daily work

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working on web applications
  • Experience with Next.js and GraphQL
  • Ability to take on responsibility for end-to-end feature design and development
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Experience with Postgres and working at a startup
  • Experience in product management/ownership
