Job Title: After School Care Educator

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to join our Outside of School Hours Care team in Melbourne.

The successful candidate will be guaranteed a minimum of 10 hours per week on a regular, permanent basis:

  • After School Care - between 3:00pm to 5:30pm, Monday - Friday

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the children in our care
  2. Assist in the planning and preparation of exciting and innovative activities that enrich the lives of the children in our care
  3. Cultivate a welcoming and nurturing environment
  4. Play and have fun with primary school-aged children
  5. Prepare nutritious food and maintain a clean environment

Becoming Part of Our Team:

  • Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can help you grow your skills
  • Possionate working with children and seeing them thrive
  • Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
  • Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Working with Children Check relevant to your state (WWCC, WWVP, Blue card, VIT)
  • Has a Cert III or Diploma in an ACECQA approved course (or be working towards it) - Visit acecqa.gov.au to learn more about approved qualifications
