Job Role:

This is a casual position in the Albury/Lavington area, primarily involving weekend work. The hourly compensation is competitive, and working hours are from 5:30–6:00 am.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Operate a rear lift collection vehicle to transport loads
  • Perform daily pre-start and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Deliver loads to designated recycling and disposal facilities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Maintain compliance with Fatigue Management rules and regulations to prevent driver fatigue
  • Provide high-quality customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
  • A valid HR license with relevant experience in driving heavy vehicles
  • Maintain a clean driving record with no major incidents or offenses
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and computer literacy for effective interaction with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Cultivate a strong commitment to safety and teamwork within the organization
  • Pass a pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol test to ensure fitness for duty
