Job Opportunity:

The Classroom Teacher role is a pivotal position in supporting student learning and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering educational programs to groups of students and individual learners
  • Contributing to curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation within the school
  • Performing various teaching-related and organisational duties as directed by school management
  • Participating in events such as parent/teacher meetings, staff gatherings, camps, and excursions
  • Undertaking non-teaching supervisory responsibilities

Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant curriculum areas, including literacy and numeracy skills
  • Proven experience in addressing student learning needs
  • Experience in designing and implementing high-impact teaching strategies, grounded in how students learn, and evaluating the impact on student learning growth
  • Skilled in monitoring and assessing student progress
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Classroom teachers at this level operate under general direction with clear guidelines. They may be responsible for mentoring one or more student teachers. At this level, teachers assist in developing school policies and programs, and contribute to the implementation of school priorities.

The ideal candidate will have strong teaching skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering quality education.
