About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. This is a hands-on role that involves installing, commissioning, maintaining, and servicing advanced food processing and packaging machinery.

The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial electrical work within FMCG, food, or packaging sectors and possess a strong mechanical aptitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and commissioning of high-tech food processing and packaging equipment
  • Diagnosing and resolving breakdowns quickly and effectively
  • Preventative maintenance and equipment upgrades
  • On-site training for customer teams
  • Accurate reporting and documentation using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Equipment surveys and recommendations for repairs or rebuilds
Requirements
  • QLD Unrestricted Electrical Licence
  • Proven experience in industrial electrical work within FMCG, food, or packaging sectors
  • Strong mechanical aptitude (PLC and HV experience not required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional presentation and customer-facing confidence
  • Valid Australian driver's licence
  • Willingness to travel regionally/interstate when required
