Automotive Electric Vehicle Technician

">Role Overview

This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about the automotive industry and have a desire to work with electric vehicles. As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, working with cutting-edge technology and learning from experienced technicians.

You will be responsible for supporting the service team to deliver an outstanding customer experience, performing basic vehicle servicing and inspections under supervision, and learning to use diagnostics tools and automotive software systems.

In addition to gaining technical skills, you will also undertake formal qualifications, including a Certificate III in Automotive Electric Vehicle Technology, and have the opportunity to build a career pathway in the automotive trades or mechanical engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the service team to deliver an excellent customer experience
  • Perform basic vehicle servicing and inspections under supervision
  • Learn to use diagnostics tools and automotive software systems
  • Undertake formal qualifications, including a Certificate III in Automotive Electric Vehicle Technology
  • Develop skills and knowledge in electric vehicle technology and mechanics
Requirements
  • Completed Year 12 education
  • Full Australian work rights
  • Eligible to enrol with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
  • A valid driver's licence
  • Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions, work efficiently, and adapt to changing priorities
  • A proactive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
