**Job Opportunity:**

We are seeking an experienced Trainer and Assessor to deliver Certificate IV in Ageing Support. The role requires you to inspire and engage students, provide support and feedback, monitor and conduct student assessments, and plan and review training and assessment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and deliver assigned programs using your extensive knowledge and experience
  • Provide guidance and feedback to ensure successful completion of programs
  • Assess and evaluate student performance
  • Plan, review, and improve training and assessment strategies
  • Promote quality assurance and continuous improvement
  • Conduct workplace visits whilst the students are on placement

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong passion for the aged care sector
  • Experience in training or lecturing is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to deliver face-to-face and online education with confidence and motivation
  • Sensitivity and adaptability to meet the needs of students from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and organisational abilities
  • A high level of attention to detail and quality
  • A relevant vocational qualification in Aged Care at Diploma or degree level
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or higher or equivalent
  • Current Police Check
  • Language Literacy and Numeracy level suitable for teaching others
