About the Role

  • Provide high-quality teaching and prepare preservice teachers for successful placements.
  • Develop current, relevant educational materials for the Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood Education and other courses as required.
  • Ensure each unit meets quality and compliance standards with regulatory bodies.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging practices through professional development.
  • Deliver engaging classes, tutorials, and placement induction programs online and face-to-face.
  • Incorporate student feedback to enhance their learning experience.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure WHS policies and procedures are followed.
  • Actively participate in incident investigations and resolutions.

About You

  • Hold an ACECQA-recognised postgraduate-level early childhood teaching qualification - minimum master's degree or enrolled PhD.
  • Have at least 1 year of experience as an Early Childhood Teacher in Australian services.
  • Show high professional conduct, including academic integrity, resilience, and a collaborative approach.
  • Be able to work independently and take initiative.
  • Have a strong understanding of Australian legislation, guidelines, operational requirements, and pedagogical frameworks.
