Regional Project Lead Position

Job Description

The Regional Shared Policy & Protocols Project Lead will be the key project resource, guiding the implementation of the project to ensure health services across the Loddon Mallee region are engaged and supported.

This role reports to the Manager - Regional Programs, LMHN.

The responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking an assessment of the requirements to support the adoption of standardised policies, protocols and guidelines (PPG) across the region, including a cost benefit analysis.
  • Development of a PPG framework that clearly articulates the policy taxonomy and hierarchy required to effectively govern health services as delegated by the entity boards.
  • Identifying and reviewing key corporate PPG common to all health services in the LMHN and drafting standardised versions.
  • Investigating and making recommendations to integrate evidence based online resources/standards improve currency and reduce the burden of producing local or regional documents.
Required Skills and Qualifications

- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and projects.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and clinical staff.

- Proven experience in developing and implementing policy frameworks and guidelines.

- Knowledge of health service operations and governance structures.
