Roadside Patrol Mechanic

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Roadside Patrol Mechanic, working on a flexible rotating roster. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Responding to roadside assistance callouts and providing prompt mechanical support to members
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle breakdowns with efficiency and precision
  • Performing minor mechanical repairs, adjustments, and services including battery replacements, tyre changes, and jump-starts
  • Delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring member safety and satisfaction during challenging situations
  • Coordinating with towing services or other specialist support where necessary
  • Maintaining accurate service records in line with policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with strong diagnostic and repair capabilities across various makes and models
  • Relevant trade qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related field
  • A Motor Vehicle Repairer's Licence (light vehicle repairs mandatory)
  • A current and valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for helping others
  • A customer-first mindset, with the ability to provide calm and supportive assistance under pressure
