As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping our cloud-first strategy and delivering scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and operate complex cloud environments that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft automation scripts leveraging CI/CD processes, automated testing, unit testing, code coverage, and other software development best practices to ensure efficiency and reliability in our cloud deployments.
  • Contribute to reusable automation scripts, libraries, services, and tools to increase system and process efficiencies and improve collaboration across teams.
  • Partner with security teams to continually review and understand new industry security threats, associated technologies, and quickly address vulnerabilities in our cloud infrastructure.
  • Work with application management teams to continually review and understand the impact of resolving open vulnerabilities and execute those resolutions to maintain a secure environment.
  • Pursue opportunities to further operational excellence by increasing efficiency and reducing risk, complexity, waste, and cost in our cloud operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish technical direction and negotiate technical decision points to drive innovative solutions and optimize our cloud strategy.
  • Drive technical design and validation, ensuring implementation aligns with our technical strategies and strategic business goals while delivering exceptional results.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with common web technologies (C#, .NET, Java or other equivalent Object-Oriented language) required.
  • 5+ years of experience in implementing cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure) and understanding SAAS, PAAS, and IAAS models necessary.
  • Experience building high-performance, scalable, robust, 24x7 environments and/or applications is essential.
  • Expertise in creating scripts or automation (Perl, PowerShell, Python, TCL/TK, Ruby or similar for cloud orchestration) is required.
  • Availability on a 24x7x365 basis when needed for production impacting incidents or key customer events is necessary.
  • Ability to create quality code that is secure and operable at scale is crucial.
