Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Relocation Specialist to lead the relocation of our manufacturing operations, equipment, and processes.

  • This role involves overseeing and executing the transfer of manufacturing assets and processes as part of our company's transition plan.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate, manage, and execute the relocation of manufacturing equipment, systems, and processes.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Leading and coordinating the relocation of manufacturing equipment, systems, and processes in line with our company's transition plan.
  2. Specifying required utilities, reviewing floor layout to ensure efficiency, and ensuring safety systems are prepared for incoming machinery.
  3. Overseeing the calibration, testing, and validation of relocated equipment to meet production specifications.
  4. Developing and implementing detailed project schedules, ensuring on-time and efficient relocation activities.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years' experience in a manufacturing engineering or process engineering role, with at least 2 years directly involved in relocation, transfer, or startup of manufacturing operations.
  • A proven track record in leading large-scale projects involving equipment installation, process transfer, or facility setup.
