Retail Manager Role Overview

Our retail operation in Canberra seeks experienced and motivated managers to drive sales, key performance indicators, customer engagement, and team growth.

As a retail manager, you will be responsible for leading store operations to meet targets, maintaining high store standards, visual merchandising, stock control, wage management, and loss prevention.

  • Drive sales growth through effective store operations and customer service.
  • Lead a team of sales assistants, supervisors, and 3ICs to achieve targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Develop strategies to improve store sales, manage costs, and maintain high morale among team members.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, making adjustments as needed to ensure successful store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure efficient store operations, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and employee development.
  • Motivate the team to achieve sales and KPI targets while maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve store sales, manage costs, and enhance customer experiences.
  • Monitor and analyze store performance data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a sales assistant, supervisor, or 3IC in a retail environment.
