About the Role

We are seeking an experienced maintenance professional to join our team. As a mechanical maintainer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our resources industry assets.

This is a unique opportunity to work on site in a capital city location and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Routine and breakdown maintenance as well as inspection and monitoring of assets
  • Maintain close liaison and co-operation with operations teams
  • Manage the day-to-day performance and work activities of the team
  • Build strong customer focus between maintenance and operating departments
About You

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

  • Relevant trade qualification (i.e. Fitter and Turner)
  • Experience working on cranes highly regarded
  • Able to work within a team environment
  • Demonstrate a willingness to work flexibly to ensure safety, environment, and production targets are met
  • High-level communication skills, with a proven ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Sound knowledge in the metal processing industry (or similar)
  • SAP experience is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge or understanding of continuous improvement is also desirable but not essential
