Consumer Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a professional to support and promote the development of consumer engagement across our organisation, influencing and negotiating changes, practices and services to improve quality and the consumer experience.

This role will facilitate positive consumer engagement across the organisation, providing high-level advice to senior management and reporting directly to the CEO. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and monitoring consumer feedback functions and processes across our residential aged care and home care services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop positive relationships with stakeholders to influence and negotiate change;
  • Support and promote the development of consumer engagement strategies across the organisation;
  • Provide high-level advice to senior management and report directly to the CEO;
  • Review and monitor consumer feedback functions and processes;

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to develop positive relationships and influence change;
  • Strong clinical understanding and qualification;
  • Strong knowledge of ageing care legislation, standards and regulations;
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to liaise with government departments and their representatives;
  • Previous ageing care quality systems experience;
  • Current driver's license;
  • Experience in consumer engagement related activities;
