Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Professional to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, out-of-home care and support for children, young people, and their families.
This role involves working closely with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for children, young people, and their families. The successful applicant will have significant experience in providing high-level assessment, care planning, and intervention for children and young people in family-based out-of-home care.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing clinical oversight and direction to ensure high-quality out-of-home care and support for children, young people, and their families.
- Assessing, planning, and implementing interventions to bring about therapeutic change and promote attachment and relationships.
- Working closely with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for children, young people, and their families.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A 3-4 year tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or related discipline.
- Significant experience in providing high-level assessment, care planning, and intervention for children and young people in family-based out-of-home care.
- Previous leadership experience within a social welfare context.
- Queensland Provisional Green (P2) or Open Driver's Licence.
- Able to obtain positive notice in the Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and any other legislatively required personal history screening as required.
- Evidence of current vaccination against Whooping Cough or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
