The role of a Workforce Planning Specialist is to ensure the efficient deployment of staff across various operational areas.
This involves reviewing and adjusting work schedules in real-time, taking into account live flight information and operational demands. A forward-planning scope of up to 72 hours enables proactive workforce management.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor key operational drivers such as flight schedules, load factors, baggage volumes, and freight loads to ensure staffing levels meet daily service requirements.
- Continuously assess and refine resource plans in response to disruptions like off-schedule flights, gate or bay changes, and irregular operations.
- Collaborate with team leaders and supervisors to effectively communicate workforce plans and execute them across all teams.
