Making a Positive Impact in Global Health

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Health Consultant to join our team. As a Health Consultant, you will play a vital role in shaping our global health initiatives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strategic technical guidance to advance our programming in Health
  • Driving sector-wide learning and capacity strengthening through mentoring, training, and resource development
  • Delivering timely and context-sensitive technical guidance to strengthen design, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement
  • Fostering strong relationships across partners to promote alignment and collaborative program development

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (such as public health, community development, international development)
  • Strong sector experience grounded in frontline work in public health policy, programs, and services or community-based initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience in developing successful project & grant proposals
  • Demonstrated experience in developing high-quality technical materials such as training materials, tools, guidelines, academic materials
  • Experience in delivering training, capacity strengthening, and mentoring

Preferred Qualifications:

We also welcome applications from candidates with:

  • Understanding of child rights-based approaches and frameworks
  • Experience in Mekong and/or Pacific region an added value
  • Familiarity with GEDSI and safeguarding frameworks and practices
  • Experience in Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) and/or child and maternal health
