Experienced Plastic Surgeon Wanted

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is seeking an experienced plastic surgeon to join its team. As a consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in collaboration with medical officers, registrars, fellow consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals.
This position offers the opportunity to lead our plastic surgery service and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient care.
About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who has significant experience in the field of plastic surgery and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to ongoing research and education, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Manage patient care in collaboration with medical officers, registrars, fellow consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals.
- Undertake clinical research expertise and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing research.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities, education activities, patient safety, and clinical risk management.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) or equivalent qualification.
- Significant experience in the field of plastic surgery and subspecialist training.
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent degree.
- Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a medical practitioner with specialist registration.
This is an ongoing part-time position, working 18.75 hours per week across both NALHN sites with varying levels of acuity.
