Job Title: Sharepoint Developer

Recruitment Hive is seeking an experienced Sharepoint Developer to join our client, a Government Organisation, in a long-term contract based in ACT, Sydney or Melbourne.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide technical ownership of Sharepoint, including being the defined point of contact for issues, requests, questions, reporting/auditing, solutions/integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership for the Sharepoint Consolidation project and related outcomes.
  • Drive information architecture, including a deliberate document management structure for the Technology group.
  • Drive governance discussions around external access and access defaults for internal staff/data.
  • Work with internal stakeholders, including the Records Management team, to deliver the Sharepoint Consolidation project and related outcomes.
  • Support the development of Sharepoint skills across Technology staff.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Knowledge and experience using programming languages: PowerShell, JavaScript/SPFX, HTML & CSS.
  • Experience designing and developing and configuring Sharepoint sites, web parts, workflows, and custom applications.
  • Sharepoint maintenance, support, configuration, reporting & administration experience including user, permissions, and content management.
  • Experience with related technologies, MS Teams, Purview, Power Platform, Azure – Education or experience with Information Systems or Information Management.
