Senior Portfolio Strategist

The Senior Portfolio Strategist plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing portfolio strategies that drive optimal risk-adjusted returns.

As part of our investment team, this individual will contribute to the enhancement of transparency and accuracy in analytics, implement holistic portfolio risk management, and participate in ideation for dynamic and opportunistic asset allocation.

  • Enhance transparency and accuracy in investment analytics through collaboration with the investment team.
  • Implement holistic portfolio risk management to mitigate potential risks.
  • Participate in ideation for dynamic and opportunistic asset allocation to optimize risk-adjusted returns.
  • Execute tactical trades that optimize implementation for cost-effective positioning.
  • Research and determine optimal rebalancing parameters for total portfolio exposure.
  • Identify and manage unintended risks, assess implementation options, and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
Key Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate degree/s in a related discipline highly regarded.
  • 4 or more years experience in portfolio construction and management.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian and international financial markets and asset classes.
  • Broad understanding of asset pricing models.
  • Strong proficiency in mathematics and quantitative abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with the team.
  • Competent in international data information systems.
  • Adept with in-house data warehouse and performance measurement systems.
  • Impeccable attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Possess exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
