Culinary Assistant

We are seeking candidates to assist in the preparation, presentation and service of meals on a casual basis. This is a fast-paced environment where you will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing, plating and distributing patient meals
• Providing meal and beverage service to wards and patients/residents in aged care
• Basic food preparation, including making sandwiches, plating and heating of meals
• Cleaning duties

Requirements include:

• Current Food Handlers Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Contributing effectively to a team environment and independently as required
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility to cover leave as required

All employees must comply with vaccination requirements and provide evidence of vaccination for various diseases, such as Influenza and COVID-19.
