**Position Available: Kitchen Staff**

Are you passionate about community, healthy eating, and creating delicious food? Cafe 96 is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as Kitchen Staff. As a member of our vibrant wholefoods cafe and bulk food shop, you'll have the opportunity to work independently while also collaborating with our team to deliver exceptional service and culinary experiences.

Location: Cafe 96, Seymour, Victoria, Australia

Hours: Part-time, 2-3 days per week, including some Saturdays

**Salary**: Casual Rates, $29.04 - $34.85

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work independently while following instructions and recipes, with scope to bring new ideas on board.
- Maintain a neat and tidy work environment, fitting seamlessly into our existing group dynamic.
- Demonstrate basic cooking skills and a logical approach to kitchen tasks.
- Exhibit patience and warmth when interacting with customers.
- Possess basic knowledge of computers to assist with daily operations.
- Available from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with the ability to step into leadership roles when necessary.

**Job Duties Include**:

- Assisting with front-of-house duties such as clearing tables and serving customers.
- Participating in cooking and basic menu planning to uphold our high standards of culinary excellence.
- Engaging in food preparation and ensuring adequate stock levels in the kitchen.
- Possibly assisting with bulk food topping up and stock ordering.
- Part-time position requiring 2-3 days per week, with potential for increased hours, including some Saturdays.
- Taking responsibility for cleaning duties, including dishwashing, general kitchen cleaning, and end-of-day cleanup.
