Position Overview:
Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to exceptional patient care? Healthscope Hospitals is seeking a Registered Nurse Scrub Scout to join our Operating Theatre team. We encourage qualified candidates with relevant clinical experience to consider this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based nursing care to patients
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team
  • Ensure the safety of patients and staff
  • Guide and supervise nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs)
  • Educate and support patients in managing their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life care
  • Maintain current registration with AHPRA
  • Hold a Working with Children Check
  • Possess or be pursuing a Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing
  • Demonstrate a commitment to delivering quality patient care
  • Adhere to ACQSHC National standards
  • Exhibit sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Possess excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Have basic computer proficiency

If selected for this role, your salary will be determined based on your relevant registered nursing experience in accordance with the current Healthscope and ACTNMA/ANMF – ACT Nurses and Midwives' – Enterprise Agreement.
