Legal Opportunity
Job Overview- Leads and supports the negotiation, drafting, and review of commercial contracts such as EPC contracts, supply and install contracts, balance of plant contracts, PPAs/offtake agreements, connection agreements, and O&M agreements.
- Advises on land acquisitions, planning approvals, and general commercial matters including NDAs, consultancy agreements, services agreements, and disputes.
- Provides support and manages external counsel.
- Advises on regulatory matters such as FIRB, Australian Financial Services Licences and Critical Infrastructure.
- Contributes to strategic initiatives, including the development of precedent contracts, adoption of new processes, and delivering training to the team.

- Admitted as a lawyer in Australia.
- Practising as a projects or energy lawyer for 4-8 years in private practice or in-house.
- Strong understanding of energy or infrastructure transactions in Australia.
- Proven stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence outcomes.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and self-motivated.
- Strong problem-solving, commercial, and communication skills.
- Thrives in dynamic and evolving environments.
